Game 4 - A Little Croc Action - (4/21/14)

What Happened

We wake the next morning. We huddle up in Scipia's berth. We are discussing who to talk to about the assassination attempt on Leslie.

On our going down to the hold when Sour Sarah grabs us and sends him to check on the mage circle.

On the way to the mage circle, we notice Mt Grumbly is erupting.

Keladin encounters Markee. He is the male dwarf of the husband wife duo. He goes back into his room after we tell him Mt Grumbly is errupting.

Hydrazine and Vellum are in the power room.

Sir Edric encounters Feargus.

Keladin gets to the helm and encounter Sarah who is watching Mt Grumbly. She says directs him to check the life boats.

Scipia got down to the hold to check on Leslie. The Laundau is there and tied down as it should...but there is silence.

Vellum finds Bill in the galley with Corvus.

Scipia knocks on a door at the Laudua...still silence. She tries the handle of the door - it is locked.

Scipia, Hydrazine, Sid Edric are in the power room.

Vellum is on deck watching for the chariots to return.

Corvus is in the Galley.

After checking the life boats, Keladin stops by the Galley and talks with Bill who asks about Leslie. He knows that Leslie had a big row with her mentor last night.

Scipia, Vellum, Hydrazine and Sir Edric head back to the hold.

On the side of the Landau, sitting on some steps, is a sulking Leslie. (one lantern on her belt and 4 on the Landau).

Leslie wants to go adventuring and the group down there heads to the galley.

Back to the town, at the central covia, the sky chariots are still gone.

Hydrazine notices that there is a fairly large dray pulled up on the western side of town.

Keladin notices the town guard is drilling again - the 80 guards are organized in 5 troops.

Vellum notices the town is not in a panic - they are paying attention - but apparently Mt Grumbly acting up is not unheard of.

We approach the town watch captain. Don't want to team up with some amateurs.

The group circles the forest and finds another path that leads to the bottom of the bluffs. Vellum realizes that the path leads from the Goblin camp to the water where they do something. We head towards the water.

Combat

  • 2 x Goblins w/ bows
  • 3 x Crocs (collars and chains leading back into the water)

XP

  • Combat - 2800 / 7 = 400 xp
  • Quest - Out of the Nest - 600 xp
  • Running Total - 4280 + 1000 = 5280 (Ding Level 3)

  • +1 Shortsword = 2304 / 2 = 1152 gp
  • 50 gp x 2 = 100 gp
  • 3 x Used to be magical chains - inlaid with ambergold - 10 lbs each - 1 lbs of ambergold each (2750 a lb)
