Lightning damage (sometimes also called electricity damage or electric damage) is caused by static discharge of electricity into the target's body. This disrupts the target's nervous system, locks their muscles up, and, in some cases, also causes secondary effects, such as burns or stuns. Lightning damage is associated with the element of air.
