Erratic Charge (Ex)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Feral Mien
Benefit: Once per round as part of a Charge action, you can activate Erratic Charge. Your charge can include one change of direction during its movement portion. This charge attack must occur before the start of your next turn or the benefit of Erratic Charge is lost. You must be able to perceive the target of your charge before you begin the charge attack.
Erratic Charge cannot be activated in the same charge attack action as another rage power which is activated on a charge attack action.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: You can pass through ally spaces while performing a charge attack augmented with Erratic Charge (though you must still end your charge in an unblocked, unoccupied space).
  • 21st Level: The path you take during the movement portion of a charge attack you have augmented with Erratic Charge can change course as often as you like. You no longer have to end the charge in the closest square to your target's space — you can, for example, move around behind your target, instead. You still cannot pass through blocked squares or spaces occupied by enemy creatures, and you must still end your charge in an unblocked, unoccupied space.
  • 31st Level: The movement portion of a charge attack you have augmented with Erratic Charge does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
