Friendly Fire Maneuvers (Feat)

You can shrug off friendly fire more easily, anticipating the reckless tactics of your ally.

Prerequisites: Level 1

Benefit: When you take this feat, choose one ally. Any time you are included in an attack or harmful effect intentionally caused by that ally, you are considered hardened against all effects deliberately generated by that ally, taking only half damage from the effect, even before any saving throws or damage mitigation (such as DR or ER) are applied to it.

Note that this feat does not provide any mitigation against harmful effects which your chosen ally did not intentionally cause. For example, if your ally sets off a trap that includes you in its area of effect, this feat provides no benefit (unless they set it off with full knowledge of where the trap was, how it was triggered, and what it would do).

Once you have chosen an ally that this feat applies to, that choice cannot be changed, except through the re-selection process.

Special: You may select this feat multiple times. Each time you take it, you may choose one additional ally against whose attacks you are now hardened, or, you may choose to take only one quarter damage from an ally you have already chosen. You may not reduce damage below a quarter with this feat, although ER/DR/saves are, as always, made after this feat is applied.
