This item is a pair of arm clasps, worn around the arms, filling the wrists slot. They may fit anywhere between wrists and shoulders, although they usually ride the arms below the elbow. It is even possible there is only one torque, but in such cases, nothing can be worn on the other wrist slot of a magical nature.
They can be highly decorated or plain, made of leather, cordage, wraps of cloth both coarse and fine, pieces of carved bone or ivory, and a myriad of metals ranging from delicate mithril filigree to massive adamantine bands. No matter their form, they infuse the wearer with tremendous surety and accuracy of motion, sculpts their muscles, tendons, and bones into the most powerful possible form, and strengthens their essential humors into the purest and most capable ones possible, lending them the peaks of good health and capability. As such, the magic of these Torques is tremendously valuable, and highly sought-after.
Upon donning these magical wrist adornments, the wearer feels an incredible sensation of perfect health and brimming strength and capability. Over the course of the first day of use, this sensation does not fade, and the wearer finds their very form...improving. The owner of this magic item must wear it continuously for 24 hours to attune it to their aura, and until that time has passed, it provides no benefits to the wearer.
