Not just anybody can do this, you know. Well, okay, they can if they have this pattern. But otherwise...

Caustic Creature Pattern (+1 CR)

Subtype: add Caustic to subtypes

Caustic Creature is a pattern that adds a corrosive aura to a creature. Whether they sweat acid, emit clouds of caustic spores, are covered with bursting acidic blisters across their skin, have flakes of pepper sprinkled on their weapons, or acidic pickled marrow squirting from their bile-soaked bones. Caustic Creatures are tough to battle from up close, and can give your melee players plenty of challenges to deal with!

This creature seems dangerous to approach due to the caustic substances around it.

Acidic Aura (Ex; Caustic Creature Pattern)

Up to once per round, after it performs an attack action, a Caustic Creature emits a fine spray of corrosive material as an aura surrounding it. This is an acidic damage aura that effects all enemy creatures within 1 squares of the Caustic Creature's space. This damage aura inflicts 1d3 points of acid (energy, common) damage. Affected creatures may make a Fortitude save against a DC of 14 in order to take half damage.
