Darkfire damage is a peculiar blending of fire and negative energy damage. It is extremely difficult to resist as these two forces blend into something altogether new and terrible. Darkfire both burns and corrupts the flesh it comes into contact with. Some legends suggest it actually strengthens undead creatures exposed to it.
