| Benefit = Once per round as a free action, you can empower your next attack with elemental damage. This attack must occur before the start of your next turn, and it must hit your target, or else the activation of this power is lost.  If it hits, it deals bonus damage equal to 1d6 + WIS modifier, of one of the following types: Fire, Cold, Acid, or Lightning. Once chosen, the damage type cannot be changed until you activate this rage power again.  This is considered bonus damage, so it is not multiplied on a critical hit, but it affects creatures resistant to precision damage normally.

When you activate this rage power, you must declare whether it is inflicting fire, cold, lightning, or acid damage. Each of your attacks that hit your target inflict an additional 2 + WIS modifier damage as bonus damage of the selected elemental type to the target.  This ability only applies to attacks made during your turn, and not attacks of opportunity, immediate actions, or other abilities that occur outside of your turn. Bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit, nor does it apply to non-attack abilities, such as combat maneuvers, unless you have an ability that specifically states otherwise.

Elemental Strike (Su)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Primal Mien
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can empower the attacks you make before the end of your current turn with elemental damage.
This bonus damage increases by an additional +2 per experience tier of the Barbarian class you possess after the first (i.e., 4 + WIS at Barbarian level 6, 6 + WIS at Barbarian level 11, 8 + WIS at Barbarian level 16, etc.), to a maximum of 14 + WIS if you have all seven tiers of the Barbarian class (i.e. at Barbarian level 31).

Progression:

 • 11th Level: You may declare that all of your weapon damage dealt by an attack augmented with Elemental Strike is comprised of the chosen elemental type, instead of being a mix of physical and energy damage types.
 • 21st Level: When you activate this power, you may apply this bonus damage to all attacks you make before the start of your next turn. This means attacks of opportunity or immediate actions that are attacks now also inflict this bonus damage. However, combat maneuvers, being skill checks, do not, unless you have an ability that specifically states you may include bonus damage.
 • 31st Level: If the target of your attacks has ER versus the chosen energy type, it is treated as being half its actual value when resolving damage inflicted while using this rage power. If the target is immune to the chosen energy type, you inflict half damage.
