: Does that attack do eight times normal damage?  No, even though that would be cool.  Double damage (x2) times an x4 crit sounds like it should be x8.  But instead, the multiplier of the SMALLER effect minus 1 is added to the multiplier of the largest effect. In this case, the Defenseless against Silver (x2)  multiplier is smaller than the x4, so the x2 -1, or 1, is added to the x4.  So, this critical hit with a silvered weapon does x5 damage.

In this case, the Defenseless against Silver (x2)  multiplier is added to the x4.  So, this critical hit with a silvered weapon does x6 damage (x2 + x4).

: That's still pretty spectacular!  Well done!
