Description: Mindsense allows the possessing creature to sense the presence of thoughts of any creatures within range. Mindsense does not require line of sight or line of effect. Any non-stealthed, non-mindless creature within range is detected.

The creature with mindsense must make a perception check to detect stealthed creatures within range, but gains a +5 circumstance bonus to its perception. The DC of the perception check is equal to the stealthing creature's stealth check result. Invisibility does not provide any benefits to stealth against creatures with mindsense.

Detected creatures do not have concealment.

Mindsense does not provide any knowledge of a detected creature's thoughts or memories. Instead, like other senses, it provides the location of detected creatures and whether nor not those creatures are familiar. Mindsense allows the detecting creature to make lore checks against unfamiliar creatures, and recognize individuals it has previously encountered.

Mindsense is less effective in crowded environments. If more than 20 non-mindless creatures are present within 50 feet of the desired target creature, that the target creature gains partial concealment (automatically miss on a natural result of a 6 or less on the d20) due to the confusion caused by all of the other minds present. If more than 50 non-mindless creatures are present within 50 feet of the target creature, the target creature gains total concealment (automatically miss on a natural result of a 12 or less on the d20, and you must be attacking the square your target actually occupies), instead.
