Description

As you call forth the ringing, high-minded words of this spell, your form seems incredibly inspiring and your actions freighted with import. Upon completion of the spell, your presence inspires incredible awe in those nearby who oppose you. An enemy creature that fails a save against this spell falls to the ground and prostrates itself before you, believing it bows before a divine presence. A flying creature incapable of hovering must land immediately in order to prostrate itself.
These creatures who fail their saving throw gain the Splayed condition, as they throw themselves at your feet. A creature that makes the initial save to resist this spell is merely Quelled instead. After the affected creatures clear their status condition, the charge they were afflicted with is cleared.
Synergy: If the afflicted creatures are affected by another charge before they can clear their Splayed or Quelled condition, the caster of this spell may choose to inflict upon them (Circle 5 damage): 1d6+1 points of damage per character level (max 15d6+15 at character level 15) of psychic (energy, uncommon) damage, as their sudden rude awakening to the foolishness of their actions injures their minds directly.
This spell lays an arcane or divine charge on its target(s), depending on the caster who is casting the spell. If the targets are something other than you or another creature (such as an object or area), the spell lays an arcane or divine charge on you, the caster. Divine casters lay a divine charge, and arcane casters lay an arcane charge. Targets which already have an arcane or divine charge present must choose which to keep if the new spell has the same charge type. Only one arcane charge and one divine charge can ever be present on a target at a time.
