Tirade (Ex)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Superstitious Mien
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you issue a furious stream of biting words and harsh invective at a nearby foe, calling on the spirits to blight its life. One foe within 15 feet of you that you can perceive suffers a number of points of rugosic (physical, uncommon) damage equal to your WIS mod plus your barbarian level. There is no to-hit roll or save against this damage. In addition, the target must make a saving throw vs. a DC of 10 + half your barbarian level + your WIS modifier or become Jinxed until the start of your next turn.
Tirade cannot be activated in the same round as any other rage powers capable of inflicting a status condition, unless it inflicts status conditions from the same array (i.e. Jinxed, Hexed or Cursed).

Progression:

  • 11th Level: You can choose one or two foes within 30 feet of you, that you can perceive, as the target of your Tirade (increased from 15 feet). Tirade now inflicts damage equal to your full WIS STAT, not the mod, plus your barbarian level, as well as the Jinxed condition upon a failed save.
  • 21st Level: Tirade now inflicts damage equal to your full WIS STAT, not the mod, plus your barbarian level times your experience Tier. (Example:A level 21 Superstition Barbarian with a WIS of 26 inflicts 131 points of rugosic damage with their Tirade. This is calculated as their full WIS stat of 26, plus their level of 21 time their experience tier of 5 (21x5 = 105). 26 plus 105 = 131.) Tirade now inflicts Hexed, instead of Jinxed, if any creature fails its saving throw. If it lands, the Hexed condition lasts until the start of your next turn.
  • 31st Level: Tirade now effects up to three creatures you choose within 40 feet of your space, that you can see. Tirade causes the same damage, but now inflicts Cursed, instead of Hexed, if any creature fails its saving throw. If it lands, the Cursed condition lasts until the start of your next turn.
