Inscribed Wand of Fussiness

CL 23 Magic Wand • Strong Enchantment
Cost: 679,500 gp
Weight: 0.5 lbs.
Family: Wand of Fussiness

A wand of fussiness is typically fabricated from a thick stalk of fellowship grass, which is a pale lavender in color. The stalk is roughly three-quarters of an inch thick, smooth-sided, reedy, and pliant. Fellowship grass is a grain whose seeds are edible, and can be prepared as a gruel that is said to foster positive feelings between those who share it. Of course, while the wands themselves are technically edible, such use is strongly discouraged.

Up to seven times per day, an inscribed wand of fussiness allows the wielder to exclude one additional target within an area of effect they are creating or causing, when making use of their Selective (Feat). These uses may either be activated separately, with different areas of effect, or all at once, with a single area of effect, or any combination in between. Activating the wand is done as part of the same action as the action needed to create or cause the area of effect.

In addition, any time this wand is being wielded, even during rounds in which it is not used, the wielder may automatically exclude up to two allied summoned creatures, animal companions, familiars, or NPC allies (or any combination thereof) from the area of any spells or effects they produce, without using up any of the 'uses per day' of the wand.

The wielder must already possess the Selective (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.

This magic item does not require an attunement period, and grants its benefits immediately upon being worn or wielded.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Epic Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 56 (10 + double CL)), Intense (tier 4) remnant, An item symbolic of the enchantment, 339,750 gp (minus cost of symbolic item).
