A wand of the fundaments pulses and twists in the hand of the wielder. The very fabric of the wand seems to exist as a collection of particles, like sand, each with their own motion and direction, while simultaneously rippling and undulating in a coordinated, wave-like fashion. If one looks hard enough at the wand, they can see that it is made up of billions of impossibly small strings that twist and bend constantly, nearly invisible to the naked eye. It is a mystery as to what, exactly, these strings might be made of, and exactly how they hold together in the approximate shape of a wand.

The owner of this magic item must wear it continuously for 24 hours to attune it to their aura, and until that time has passed, it provides no benefits to the wearer.

A novice's wand of the fundaments grants the wielder the ability to apply the effects of the Fundament Spell (Feat) to any 1st or 2nd level spell, up to once per encounter, without increasing the spell level of the spell.

The wielder must already possess the Fundament Spell (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.

An adept's wand of the fundaments grants the wielder the ability to apply the effects of the Fundament Spell (Feat) to any 1st through 3rd level spell, up to twice per encounter, without increasing the spell level of the spell. The wand cannot be used more than once in the same round, however.

The wielder must already possess the Fundament Spell (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.
