Warlord's Ring of Alacrity

CL 31 Rings Slot Item • Overwhelming Evocation
Cost: 14,400,000 gp
Weight: 0.1 lbs.
Family: Ring of Alacrity

A Ring of Alacrity is a fiddly thing. They can be made of silver, gold, finer metals, or even carved of wood or woven of leather or grass or more exotic things. In all cases, such a ring has two or more pieces that can rotate in relation to one another, akin to a 'fidget ring'.

The effects of a Ring of Alacrity are subtle but powerful. As time passes, it will 'save up' tiny fractions of everyday actions, and when enough time has passed, it 'stores up' an action that the wearer can use when they need it.

To put it mildly, being able to act twice, even if only occasionally, can be very, very useful. As such, these rings are in very high demand, with corresponding expense and rarity.

A Warlord's Ring of Alacrity provides the attuned wearer two bonus Action Points, once per day. After the last of the stored bonus action points is used, a full night's rest must be taken before the ring is ready to be used again. Once charged, it will hold its Action Points ready to use until the wearer wants them. Activating this item is a free action on the wearer's turn.

A bonus Action Point from this item can be used in the same round as one other Action Point from any source, to a maximum of two action points spent in the same round. This allows (in extreme cases) several actions to be 'stacked up' in a single turn.

The owner of this magic item must wear it continuously for 24 hours to attune it to their aura, and until that time has passed, it provides no benefits to the wearer.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Epic Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 72 (10 + double CL)), Vital (tier 6) remnant, An item symbolic of the enchantment, 7,200,000 gp (minus cost of symbolic item).
