Whipsaw (Su)

Requires: Barbarian 1
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can activate Whipsaw to augment the next attack you make before the start of your next turn. If the attack hits, it is resolved as normal against your target, and you gain a Bonus Attack at your highest attack value, that you must use before the end of your current turn. You can use this bonus attack against your current target, or against a different target you can affect with an attack, whichever you prefer. If you miss with the declared attack, you do not gain the bonus attack.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: If you successfully hit a target while using the Whipsaw rage power, you may swap spaces with that creature, as forced movement. If the creature is larger than you, it must be able to fit without squeezing into the area you are leaving behind, or you cannot use this ability. In any case, you must end up adjacent to the creature you just attacked, and you must be in a square it previously occupied, and at least one of the squares of its space must be in the space you previously occupied.
  • 21st Level: If you swap spaces with the target creature after a successful hit with Whipsaw, the target also gains the Disoriented condition until the start of your next turn. There is no saving throw against this effect.
  • 31st Level: If you use your bonus attack against the same target that you already swapped spaces with and disoriented, and the bonus attack hits, in addition to dealing damage as normal, the target becomes Dazed instead of Disoriented.
