Description

You growl the brusk, crunchy sounds of this spell almost under your breath, pointing a finger while shattered quartz trickles from your grasp, dissolving into nothingness as it drifts. Upon completion of this spell, a ray of bright, dislocated space spears like a crack in ice, faster than you can see, toward your target.
Make a ray attack (a ranged touch attack) against a creature to whom you have line of sight and line of effect. If you hit the target, it suffers (Circle 9 damage): 1d6+3 points of damage per character level (max 25d6+75 at character level 25) of fracturing (physical, rare) as portions of its form are suddenly transformed to be utterly inimical to the rest of it, and suffer the rattled condition as they adjust to their diminished state. The effects are widely varied and invariably terrible. Living creatures have spurs of bone erupt gorily through their skin, constructs have their joints changed into soft mud, undead suddenly sweat holy water, plants erupt salt crystals, outsiders have vital portions of their bodies vanish back to their home planes, elementals find streaks of opposing elements shot through their forms, and a thousand other effects besides. The end result is the same: All enemies are broken and wracked in pain, no matter their nature.
If you miss the creature you attack, they still suffer half damage and are jostled as the ray, even brushing past them, is horribly dangerous.
