Shredding Spell [Metamagic]

Prerequisites: Spellcraft 25 ranks.

Benefit: A shredding spell affects a target's equipment or unattended objects rather than creatures. It inflicts damage or causes affects only to inanimate objects. Remember that objects being held use their holder's saving throws instead of their own if they are superior.

A shredding spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell's actual level.
