You can alter your smite ability, channeling the power of your deity into divine inspiration that grants you greater aptitude for performing combat maneuvers.

Prerequisites: Paladin 6, Smite Enemy class feature

Benefit: While using your smite enemy class feature, as a swift action at the start of your turn, you can forgo the bonus on damage rolls and instead gain a +1 feat bonus on your Maneuver Offense against the target of your smite. This bonus increases by an additional +1 per 10 full points of damage you normally inflict as bonus damage with your Smite Enemy class feature (e.g. +1 for up to 9 points of bonus damage, +2 for 10 to 19 points of damage, +3 for 20 to 29 points of damage, etc.). The effects of your smite return to normal at the start of your next turn.
