If you drink a vial of this foul-tasting, milky tonic, you gain a +4 alchemical bonus on Fortitude saving throws against disease for the next hour. If already infected, you may instead make a bonus saving throw immediately, without the +4 bonus. Bonus saves do not increment the effects toward fruition, regardless of whether or not the save is successful.
