Crocodiles are large, well armored, amphibious ambush predators. Crocodiles prefer to live in or near water, but they are ridiculously hardy creatures and can survive conditions that seem impossible for any natural creature. Crocodiles attack with a lunge and then will seek to drag their victims into deeper water and savage them with their huge jaws.
