Deafening Song

Prerequisites: Perform 21 ranks, Bardic Performance class feature.


Benefit: When the bard performs her Fascinate song, all affected creatures that fail their saves become Deafened, but continue to hear the Bard's music in their minds. As such, they may have no idea that they have been Deafened, unless prompted with visual cues. A creature Deafened by the Bard's fascinate may make a new save at the end of any of its turns if some external stimuli would suggest to it that it isn't hearing normal noises. Otherwise, the deafness persists until the Bard ends the Fascinate performance.
