Through violent and torturous conditioning, you have built up a resistance to pain.

Prerequisites: Level 11

Benefit: If you take damage of any sort from Environmental Effects, you may attempt a Fortitude saving throw against an Average DC for the CR (challenge rating) of the environmental effect inflicting the damage to reduce that damage by half. This is a bonus saving throw, and is in addition to any saving throw the environmental effect would normally allow. Any mitigation you might possess (such as ER or DR) occurs after the damage is reduced by half (assuming you succeed on the saving throw). This mitigation will work against both ongoing environmental damage, such as hot or cold conditions, altitude or bad air, dangerous or deadly liquids, quicksand, etc, as well as environmental damage from avalanches, collapses, fires, falling objects, etc. Yes, this will protect against volcanic bombs, which is very nice indeed.

Special: If you also have the Endurance feat, you may add a +1 bonus on this saving throw. This bonus increases to +2 at 11th level, +3 at 21st level, and +4 at 31st level.
