Benefit: An alchemist with this discovery may use prepared extracts while in their mutagen form. The effects of any extracts used while in mutagen form are identical to their effects in the alchemist's normal form (i.e. save DC's are unchanged, etc.).
Furthermore, the alchemist's mutagen form no longer lays an Arcane charge, meaning that the alchemist can now be the target of buff effects which lay an arcane charge, even while in their mutagen form.
