This headband twists and cavorts over the wearer's head, with unusual bends and weaves of its several platinum bands. At each intersection of the bands, a red gem is placed. For the first 24 hours, wearers may be disoriented by their newfound mental faculties, staring in wonder at colors, watching the flows of people through a crowded street in fascination, or making abundant use of adjectives in their speech.
A Headband of Gracious Wit +2 grants the wearer a +2 enhancement bonus to two mental ability scores (Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma), chosen at the time the headband is created. Once chosen, these enhanced ability scores cannot be changed.
The owner of this magic item must wear it continuously for 24 hours to attune it to their aura, and until that time has passed, it provides no benefits to the wearer.
