Protective (Quality)

Protective weapons provide a shield bonus to AC if you do not attack with the hand wielding them. When you attack with the protective weapon, the shield bonus is lost until the start of your next turn. The amount of shield bonus granted by a protective weapon is normally 1, but can be greater (see weapon's description for details).
