A weapon with the Retrieving quality has the ability to draw a struck victim closer to the wielder. This is generally done by an attached rope. Retrieving is a type of Reposition combat maneuver, requiring an opposed CMB check against the victim's CMD. If successful, you may move a struck foe only into squares closer to you than the square the foe started in.
