These glasses appear sober and studious, although some of them may have dashing design elements as well. They allow the wearer to see the world in new ways, with many different variations.
For the first 24 hours, wearers may be disoriented by their newfound mental faculties, staring in wonder at colors, watching the flows of people through a crowded street in fascination, or making abundant use of adjectives in their speech.
The enhancement bonus granted by this item does not stack with similar enhancement bonuses from other items that grant the same benefits.
A pair of Spectacles of Perspicacity +12 grants the wearer a +12 enhancement bonus to two mental ability scores (Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma), chosen at the time the Spectacles are created. Once chosen, these enhanced ability scores cannot be changed.
The owner of this magic item must wear it continuously for 24 hours to attune it to their aura, and until that time has passed, it provides no benefits to the wearer.
