===Caster Level===
===Caster Level===

Caster level is frequently different than your Class level if you are a Demi-caster (such as a bard, paladin, or ranger, for example.) Your Caster Level can also be different from your Character level, especially if you are Dual Class or Multi Classed.  Your Caster Level can even be different from both your Class Level and your character level, if you are Dual or Multi-classed into a Demi-caster class!

You can cast a spell at a lower caster level than normal, but the caster level you choose must be high enough for you to cast the spell in question, and all level-dependent features must be based on the same caster level.
