Condition Severity: Moderate
Effects
- A staggered creature may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can he take full-round actions). A staggered creature can still take free, swift, and immediate actions. A creature at exactly zero hit points or with nonlethal damage exactly equal to its current hit points gains the staggered condition.
In general, very few creatures are capable of inflicting the staggered condition as a special attack (though all of them can do it, eventually, through damage). As a special ability, it is only ever found in effects such as Vorpal weapons, or those few creatures who can inflict vorpal-like wounds with their attacks. (Use with caution!)
