Sunlight damage is the real deal, assaulting the target with the fundamental forces of light, fire, and positive energy, all combined into a ray of pure daylight. Particularly devastating to undead, sunlight damage is also effective against anything else it is pointed at. Few things can withstand such a pure concentration of fundamental forces.
