Effects

  • You suffer a -4 penalty to attack rolls
  • If you attempt to cast any spell with a somatic component, you must make a concentration check with a -4 penalty (vs. DC 15 + double the spell's level), or the spell fails and is wasted. If you are already making a concentration check to cast the spell (e.g. to combat cast), you need only make a single concentration check at a -2 penalty.

  • This is a fear condition.

If the ability, trap, or effect description includes specific directions for how the condition is ended, then that is the primary means of ending this condition. In many cases, it is the only way to end the condition. If nothing is specifically listed for ending the condition, then the following methods can be used to end it, instead:

  • If at any point you are at least 40 feet away from the creature which inflicted the Trembling condition on you, the condition immediately ends.
  • If the creature which inflicted Trembling on you is slain, the condition immediately ends.
  • If not cleared, Trembling automatically ends at the end of the encounter.
