When you use a trip weapon, you get a +2 Weapon bonus on Maneuver Checks to make trip, drag, and reposition attempts.  If you are tripped during your own trip attempt, you can drop the weapon to avoid being tripped.  In addition, if your trip, drag, or reposition combat maneuver is successful, add your weapon's enhancement bonus + 2 to the damage inflicted by the combat maneuver.
