Wand of Occluded Casting, Journeyman

CL 25 Magic Wand • Strong Illusion
Cost: 1,300,000 gp
Weight: .5 lbs.
Family: Wand of Occluded Casting

A Wand of Occluded Casting is a small, usually non-descript item, fairly plain and simple in appearance to the cursory glance. It is easy to overlook such devices, as they appear almost mundane...until you actually hold one. Grasping such a wand reveals that the wand is actually quite large, with a sturdy haft and elaborate, comfortable grips, and is incredibly intricately fitted. Engravings and carvings, inlays of mother-of-pearl, jessop, alabaster and malachite, intaglio portraits, depictions of fanciful landscapes, glittering gems and jewels, the intricacy of the design is baroque in its crammed-in complexity. Yet to all others, it seems unremarkable and ordinary.

A journeyman's wand of occluded casting grants the wielder the ability to apply the effects of the Unseen Spell (Feat) to any 1st through 7th level spell, up to once per round, without increasing the spell level of the spell.

The wielder must already possess the Unseen Spell (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.

This magic item does not require an attunement period, and grants its benefits immediately upon being worn or wielded.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Epic Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 60 (10 + double CL)), Intense (tier 4) remnant, An item symbolic of the enchantment, 650,000 gp (minus cost of symbolic item).
