You can cast your spells so that they occupy a larger space.

Prerequisites: Caster Level 7

Benefit: You can alter a spell to increase its area. All numeric measurements of the spell's area increase by +1, plus an additional +1 per ten caster levels of the caster, round down. Thus, +1 at caster levels 7-9, +2 at caster levels 10-19, +3 at caster levels 20-29, and +4 at caster levels 30+.

Example: A Burning Hand of the Magus (Spell) normally effects a 15 foot cone (a 3x3 area). A Widened Burning Hand cast by a level 11 Wizard (caster level 11, +2 squares in all directions) would affect a 5x5 area.

Example: A spell that effects a number of creatures within 30 feet of each other can now be Widened at levels 11-20 to affect creatures within 40 feet of each other. At levels 21-30, this would reach 45 feet of each other.

Spells that do not have an area defined in the spell are not affected by this feat.

Level Increase: +3 (A widened spell uses up a spell slot three levels higher than the spell's actual level.)
