Not just anybody can do this, you know. Well, okay, they can if they have this pattern. But otherwise...

Winged Creature Pattern (+1 CR)

Subtype: add Winged to subtypes

Winged Creature is a visually spectacular pattern that adds wide, glorious (or sinister) wings to a creature. Obviously, this is best suited for creatures that don't already have wings, but perhaps GM's would want their Rocs to have two pairs of wings, for some reason.

Winged is a way to make creatures that are very distinct from their base creatures. Demons and Devils with giant bat wings wreathed in spectral fire, Winged Skeletons, with lacework wings of tiny bones, Winged Zombies flapping ragged pinions of rotted flesh, a Bulette with Wings of heavy chitin flying over the city walls to burrow into homes, let your imagination go wild.

Winged Snakes, Winged Xorn, entire nations of Constituents with wings, the possibilities go on and on. Aerial campaigns set in cloud cities and airships are easily realized, with Winged crocodiles attacking out of pools of mist and Winged sharks cruising the depths of clouds, even packs of Winged Hyenas, the possibilities boggle the mind. After Two-Headed, Winged is possibly the most obvious Pattern, and GM's should really let their imaginations run wild!

This creature looks normal, except it has amazing, fully functional wings!
