Negating (Melee Weapon Magic Property)
A negating weapon suppresses all forms of a creature's damage reduction when it damages a creature. Whenever a negating weapon damages a foe with DR of any type, it reduces the value of that damage reduction by 1 point until the end of the encounter. On a confirmed critical hit, its DR is instead reduced by an amount equal to the weapon's critical multiplier. Multiple hits from a negating weapon stack. This penalty is not considered a condition, meaning it affects monsters with roles (such as heavies and threats) normally, nor is it canceled out by another condition, such as a debuff.
In addition, a negating weapon does 1d6 bonus damage of the same type as the base weapon damage on all successful hits. Note that this is bonus damage, not base damage.
For example, a +1 negating lance hitting a creature with DR 10/good and lawful reduces the creature's DR of all types by 1 for each successful, damaging strike.
