Bumping (Shield Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +1

This property may only be placed on a Light or Heavy shield. Shields with this property are sturdily built and often bear the device of a ram or bull. Up to once per encounter, when the wielder makes a move action that passes adjacent to an enemy (at any point during the move), the wielder may make a melee attack (using the damage rating for the shield as a weapon), and add 1d6 points of bonus Bludgeoning (physical, common) damage as bonus damage to that attack, as an attack of opportunity against that enemy. Any attacks of opportunity used during your turn are spent until the start of your next turn (as normal).

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 17), a languid remnant (tier 1), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
