Eater of Magic (Ex)
- Requires: Barbarian 1, Superstitious Mien
- Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can become more resistant to magic. Until the start of your next turn, the first time an enemy creature targets you (or includes you in the area of effect) with a spell, spell-like, or supernatural ability, you can roll the saving throw twice against the effect and choose the best result.
Progression:
- 11th Level: If you succeed against the saving throw with both die rolls, you completely negate all effects of the ability being used against you, even if the ability would normally inflict damage or effects on a successful saving throw. This does not negate the ability as a whole; only that portion of the ability that is targeting you.
- 21st Level: Eater of Magic applies to all saving throws you make against spells, spell-like, or supernatural abilities before the start of your next turn (instead of just the first one).
- 31st Level: Eater of Magic can now be used to resist any enemy creature's ability, even if it is extraordinary, rather than spell, spell-like, or supernatural in nature, as long as it is targeting you (or including you in its area of effect) and grants a saving throw. Even the most mundane of abilities contain some trace of foul witchery inside them, and you have honed your soul to resist even these.
