Berserker (Ex)

Requires: Barbarian 1
Benefit: As a free action, you can augment your next attack's damage. The attack gains your base weapon dice at level 1 as bonus damage (e.g. +1d8 for a longsword), assuming it hits. Bonus damage is not precision damage, nor is it multiplied on a critical hit. You must activate Berserker before your attack, and you must make the attack that has been augmented with Berserker before the start of your next turn, or the benefit is lost. If the attack misses, the benefit is also lost.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: When activated, Berserker applies to the first two attacks you make before the start of your next turn (instead of just the first attack).
  • 21st Level: Any time you apply Berserker to an attack, the bonus damage from Berserker is applied to your target whether the attack hits or misses.
  • 31st Level: When activated, Berserker applies to all attacks you make before the start of your next turn (instead of just the first two attacks).
