A brilliant energy weapon has its significant portion transformed into light, although this does not modify the item's weight. It always gives off light as a torch (30-foot radius). A brilliant energy weapon ignores nonliving matter. Armor and shield bonuses to AC (including any enhancement bonuses to that armor) do not count against it because the weapon passes through armor. (Dexterity, deflection, dodge, natural armor, and other such bonuses still apply. Thus, all attacks made by this weapon go against the target's Touch AC instead of regular AC.) A brilliant energy weapon cannot harm undead, constructs, or objects.

Brilliant Energy (Melee Weapon Magic Property)

A brilliant energy weapon ignores non-living matter and is much quicker to maneuver than a solid weapon, allowing the wielder to make all their attacks with this weapon as touch attacks.

A Brilliant Energy weapon always gives off light as a torch (30-foot radius), and as such, Stealth checks are impossible to make while it is being wielded. This property is always on, and does not require any actions to activate, although the light can be shrouded while the weapon is sheathed or stored.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 37), a pale remnant (tier 2), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
