Deathly (Melee Weapon Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +5

A Deathly weapon has been magically enchanted to casually guide the hand of its wielder to inflict the most grievous of wounds possible. This property adds +2 to the critical threat range of a weapon. For example, a Longsword has a normal critical threat range if 19-20. With the 'deathly' property, it becomes 17-20. The Deathly property does not modify the weapon's critical multiplier. There is no need to activate this magic property — it is always on.

A Deathly weapon automatically confirms critical threats, removing the need to roll a confirmation roll.

A Deathly weapon deals its full critical damage to any creature it critically hits, even if that creature is normally immune to critical hits.

Finally, a Deathly weapon inflicts the Impaired condition on any creature it critically hits, unless that creature is normally immune to critical hits. Creatures that are normally immune to critical hits do not suffer this condition.

This property does not stack with the benefit provided by Keen or any other magic property that improves critical threat range, but it does stack with feats, racial traits, spells, and/or class features that expand the critical threat range of a weapon (such as the Improved Critical feat).

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 43), a bright remnant (tier 3), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
