Disruption (Melee Weapon Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +2

The wielder of this weapon may activate this property with a swift action, causing the weapon to gently hum with a droning power that inspires terror in any nearby undead creatures. While active, a disruption weapon inflicts an extra +2d6 points of bonus positive (energy, uncommon) energy damage with all attacks. Against undead, this positive energy damage increases to +3d6. The positive energy does not harm the wielder. The property's effect remains active until another swift action is expended to turn it off, the weapon is sheathed, or until the wielder takes a full night's rest, whichever occurs first.

The positive energy damage granted by the Disruption property is bonus damage, which is not increased by a critical hit.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 23), a languid remnant (tier 1), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
