Foecaller (Melee Weapon Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +8 (epic)

You must be level 21 or higher to equip, wield or wear an item with this property.

A Foecaller weapon is drawn unerringly toward any creature the wielder wishes to attack. A Foecaller weapon ignores the miss chance for concealment against most targets, though the attack must still target the proper square. Unlike lesser weapon properties, a Foecaller weapon will pinpoint the exact square of all hostile creatures within 50 feet of the wielder's space if the wielder spends a swift action. The wielder knows the exact square of each foe, but this knowledge is for them alone, although they may, if they wish, tell others which square an enemy is occupying. This property does not require a seperate action to activate, being always active.

This ability adds two to the critical range of a weapon. For example, a Foecaller longsword would have a critical range of 17-20 x3, as opposed to its normal 19-20 x2. This ability does not stack with the benefit provided by Keen or any other magic property, but it does stack with feats and class abilities that expand the threat range of a weapon (such as the Improved Critical feat). Spells and other effects do not stack.

When used to attack a creature which has concealment (due to terrain, lighting, or anything else), or has made a Stealth roll, or who is invisible to the wielder in any way, the eldritch power of the property inficts terrible harm to that enemy, dealing 3d6+28 points of bonus Force (energy, uncommon) damage on a successful hit. The damage granted by this property is bonus damage, which is not increased by a critical hit. With a swift action, the wielder of a weapon with this property may declare that all of the damage inflicted is force damage, or change it back as a different swift action. Note that force damage affects incorporeal creatures as normal.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Epic Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 65), a vital remnant (tier 6), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
