Ability Type: Ex

Prerequisites: Rogue 11

Benefit: A rogue with this class feature improves their ability to avoid magical and unusual attacks. On any attack, spell, or effect that deals damage and permits a Reflex saving throw, the rogue takes no damage on a successful save, and only half (½) damage on a failed save.

Improved evasion does not provide any protection against non-damaging effects or status conditions caused by the effect, it only reduces the damage portion of the attack. Improved evasion can only be used in circumstances where the rogue is aware of the attack, is not using a shield or wearing heavy armor, and is not carrying a medium or heavier load.
