Land's Obeisance (Su)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Primal Mien
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can treat 1 square of difficult terrain you move across before the start of your next turn as normal terrain, as the ground itself settles obligingly beneath your feet. The terrain remains difficult for all other creatures, and returns to being difficult terrain for you at the start of your next turn.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: When you activate Land's Obeisance, you can instead treat a number of squares of difficult terrain equal to half your WIS modifier (round down; minimum 2) as though they were normal terrain until the start of your next turn.
  • 21st Level: When you activate Land's Obeisance, you can pass through 1 square of impeded terrain as though it were normal terrain. This is in addition to the other benefits of Land's Obeisance.
  • 31st Level: When you activate Land's Obeisance, you can pass through 1 square of blocked terrain as though it were normal terrain. This is in addition to the other benefits of Land's Obeisance. Land's Obeisance now allows you to pass through walls of force, or nearly any other (single square of) blocking terrain, as the world bends out of your way to accommodate your movement.
