Description

This poultice is made of slick saps, soapy root juices, and other slippery, light-textured herbs and botanicals. These are distilled and refined, then impregnated into a broken string that is plastered around one finger of the holder. As an immediate action, the holder may bark out a single sharp word of command, snapping their fingers (including the finger with the plastered string around it) aggressively at their target.
If that target is under an effect which reduces their actions, such as being bound, grappled, or otherwise restrained, or under a status condition which can be escaped, they may make an Escape Artist check to escape as an immediate action. The target gains a +1 Arcane Bonus on this check, with an additional +1 bonus per 10 character levels of the herbalist Ranger who mixed the poultice (drop fractions). This poultice has no effect if the target could not get free by using the Escape Artist skill, but can be used to negate a wide array of status conditions.
