Martyring (Armor Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +4

This armor allows the wearer to capitalize on their own injuries to heal their allies. As an immediate action, when an enemy inflicts extra damage as a result of a successful critical hit against someone wearing martyring armor, the wearer can heal allies within 30 feet as if using the Mass Cure Critical Wounds spell. The caster level of this effect is the character level of the wearer of the armor. This healing does NOT effect the wearer of the armor.

This special ability cannot be placed on armor that possesses an ability that reduces the chance of or negates a critical hit (such as the fortification special ability). It MAY be used with feats that mitigate the effects of critical hits, such as Fortified Armor Training (Feat).

Note that the spell is ostensibly being cast by the wearer during the immediate action, so any special abilities, such as the cleric's Castigate (which grants allies a forced move), or the effects of some Dweomermetals, would also trigger when this armor's special property is triggered.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 37), a pale remnant (tier 2), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
