  how many poulices do rangers know? Do they gain x amount at each level? Do they know all of them for the levels they can cast?  They were formerly divine casters, but are now arcane, so this got overlooked, apparently.  FWIW, I lean towards 'they get 2 per level, and can buy more as scrolls and learn them like scribing into a spellbook'.  Should probably check alchemists, wizards, bards, and sorcerers to make sure they have this info, also...

huh. i thought we wrote that they got poultices at the same rate as bards got spells. well, that's what's been in my head all this time. :D good catch! if you don't like that model, we can figure something else out.  as for the 'converting spells into poultices' idea, that the same mechanic as alchemists, and I'm not crazy about that at all. maybe have a different 'scroll' mechanic for rangers and alkies, call the written-down version a recipe, or something?
