Ability Type: Su

Prerequisites: Alchemist 12

Benefit: Tanglefoot bombs do not do any damage. Instead, all creatures in the affected area of the bomb become Hindered until the start of the Alchemist's next turn. There is no saving throw against this effect, but the alchemist must still make a ranged touch attack against the direct target. The bomb will still scatter as normal if it misses the direct target, but affects all creatures in the new area of effect, regardless.

Tanglefoot bombs cannot be used with Selective Bombs (Discovery) or the Precise Bomb (Feat), so aim carefully.

Note: This is a 'bomb modifier' discovery, and may not be combined with any other 'bomb modifier' discoveries, until the alchemist learns the Eureka Bombs class feature at level 17.
